I’ve been using this cleaver for two weeks now, and that 8-12° edge from the diamond sharpening process still slices through chicken bones like they’re butter. The titanium nitride coating hasn’t chipped or faded even after a few heavy-duty sessions, which is more than I can say for my old cheap one

The black coating on this blade is slick and shows zero scratches after prepping a big batch of ribs for the smoker. It’s heavy in the hand but the balance makes the 9-inch edge feel precise, and the edge came out of the box scary sharp.

Broke down two whole chickens and a butternut squash in under ten minutes, and the black titanium coating hasn't shown a single scratch. The 8-12 degree edge is scary sharp right out of the box, though you'll want a good guard for storage.
