Didn't expect the serial number etched on the blade to actually be that clean, and the 8-inch chef knife has real weight to it. The stand is what sold me though, the hand-painted rock detail looks better in person than in the photos.
The hand-painted Snake Mountain stand is way more detailed than the photos showed, all those little rock textures and lava cracks. Mine came serialized at number 412, which was a nice surprise. Blade is scary sharp right out of the box, so be careful unboxing.
The weight and balance on this thing are perfect—it feels substantial without being unwieldy, and the hand-painted Snake Mountain stand is honestly the centerpiece of my shelf now. Mine’s serial number is low, which makes it feel even more special as a true collector’s piece.
